Hey Guys,
Ever heard the phrase “you are what you eat”? Well, that goes for drinking too.
If you are knocking yourself out at the gym and mastering your eating plan, but not losing anything…think again.
What you are drinking could be holding on to those extra stubborn pounds.
Drinks such as Alcohol, sodas and juices contain sugar and loads of calories. Alcohol doesn’t get used for energy as food does. It goes straight to storage…most likely in your belly.
Check the calories in your favorite soft drink…you may be stunned. Also, when in doubt, go for the fruit, not the fruit juice. At least it isn’t processed and loaded with even more sugar!
Best bet…H2O is the way to go!

Hi Chrissy,
Great site! and awesome advice!
See you tomorrow and I will watch those empty calories.
Hey, great post! Awesome blog! So, what do you think about diet sodas like my fav diet coke???
Hey,
Thanks! The deal w/ diet coke…which is one of my favorites…is you have to be carefull of the artificial sweeteners. Not only are the chemicals bad, but studies have shown that when food and drinks are loaded w/ nutrasweet, it actually tricks the body into thinking it can have more of it. Not so bad because there are no calories, but the sodium and again chemicals, aren’t so good. My advice would be to limit your diet coke intake, and make sure that you are drinking plenty of water as well!
